How You Can Make a Donation

Veritas depends on the generosity and faithfulness of individual donors and churches, mostly in the United States and Great Britain.  Current operating costs are about $200,000 per year, most of which comes in through donations.  For those wishing to support the work of Veritas, here are some examples of funding needs:

  • Average monthly salary and benefits package for a Romanian employee (Veritas currently has 21 full-time employees): $500
  • Monthly cost of foster - care for an abandoned child: $75
  • Monthly medicine fund - pays for subscriptions or other medical emergencies for poor families with children in Kids' Club: $200
  • Monthly budget for elderly program: $200
  • Weekly cost of providing hot meals for children in Kids' Club: $250
  • Annual summer camp for Kids' Club children: $2,500
  • Excursion for elderly or special needs program: $350
  • A year's university tuition for one of our staff: $1,000

 Special projects that we would welcome funding for would be:

  • A good used van for transporting elderly and clients with disabilities: $15,000
  • Digital projector: $600
  • New computer & printer for office manager: $700

Unrestricted gifts allow us to pay operating costs such as salaries, taxes, utilities, all essential to the services we offer.
